Holiday Inn Express- Waterloo/Cedar Falls By Ihg, Waterloo

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean, comfy, and cool, but there was a slight damp smell and visible mildew which made me a little uneasy. The service was professional and excellent, with the staff going out of their way to accommodate me. The location was convenient for my needs, close to where I wanted to go, but the cost was a bit high. The dining experience was good, although it would have been even better with a waffle maker. Overall, the hotel offered a decent value for the money.

Upon entering, the cool and clean room seemed promising; however, the presence of visible mildew/mold and an unpleasant odor made the stay slightly uncomfortable, especially in the hot weather when the A/C was essential.
